Client Compliments

We’re so grateful to have had an opportunity to work with some  wonderful clients.

A glimpse of how Ranger Home Care works

Just to say thank you for enabling us to keep mum at home as she wished. Your live-in carers really made this possible. The care shown to mum over the past few months was individual, respectful, and done with a sense of humor, which mum loved. Please pass on our thanks to those involved in the care.

– Family of client

You always seem to have some carers that really shine.

Sara – Adult Services

Charity was a blessing to us, with her kind, gentle, nature. It is so reassuring to know she is looking after him so well. Her calm, caring and patient manner. After a while, my father who was so opposed to live-in care actually admitted he doesn’t think he could cope without ‘my little friend’. I cannot thank you enough for the support and comfort you give our family.

oI wanted to write to you to sincerely thank you for the incredible service you provided to ensure the care and safety of my elderly friend Grace. Grace suffers with a decreasing level of mobility and dwindling eyesight and even after recovering from a bout of pneumonia in hospital, she really wanted to stay at home. Ranger Home Care quickly provided an experienced and kind 24/7 carer to live in with Grace and organised the top-up care required with another local provider. They brought the carer to Grace’s house to ensure she understood what was expected and they were always happy to answer any queries I had. One big difference about the Ranger Care team there was always a person to answer the phone and take responsibility. To take action for any issues arising even during the evenings and weekends. I always trusted their judgment and sincerity to do the very best for Grace. I would highly recommend Ranger HOme Care to anyone who is looking for live-in care for a loved one.

Yours sincerely VR

Ranger Home Care, at very short notice, provided us with Rose, who cared for my mum’s post-operations for 3 months during lockdown 2021. She was so warm, caring, very efficient, a great cook, worked well with the additional carers we needed for initially moving mum, and had a brilliant sense of humor. She ran the house like clockwork but was never overpowering and included my dad, who was still able to do some of the household tasks. With the help of the physio, she got my mum to a place way beyond expectations and where we could use just the pop-in carers.

If we could, mum and dad would have kept her. They adored her: A Gem

Dad was confused and upset but couldn’t qualify it. It took quite a bit of talking through and Gordon was great – patient and respectful.

Thank you for all your help and support for our Mum, Pat. Who sadly passed away your team were incredible?

Dad always wanted to stay in his own home, with his family, friends, and his cat Rosie around him. I wasn’t sure that it was going to be achievable. Thank you for organising at fairly short notice, for Muna, Dad’s first live-in Carer to move in with Dad on the day he was discharged from hospital. She was calm, kind and patient. As Dad’s needs increased, we were so grateful that Rose was available to move in with Dad as a second Carer. The two ladies worked very well together, and Dad had excellent care from both of them. They recognised when Dad needed medical support and always acted quickly, seeking help from the GP, District Nurses, and the Rowans nurses, when appropriate regularly during their stay.

Julie and the family

My mum’s new carer, Emma, has only been living in for 10 days now but has breathed new life into the house. My mum has been so much brighter since Emma arrived. Nothing is too much trouble for her and now it’s clear she loves her job. My mum is much more switched on now, taking an interest in things, and she is even doing the exercises suggested after Rochelle’s visit, under Emma’s guidance.

Honestly, I cannot praise Emma enough. If all carers were like her, the world would be a happier place. If she could stay, so much the better, but I fully understand she is in great demand, and rightly so. She has fitted in so easily and is almost like family, whilst still maintaining her professional approach to her work.

Ivy has been amazing, we cannot fault her, in fact we cannot praise her enough. The house is immaculate in fact we cannot praise her enough! Antony is so happy, and all his needs have been attended to so diligently. So, thank you for sending this angel to us in such trying times.

Miranda – daughter

I just wanted to say thank you for all the help and support Ranger Home Care team gave my Mum and us during her last few months. I know she grew very fond of her carers, and they made the time she had left much more comfortable. Thank you for working with the GP and District Nurses. We are very grateful.

I don’t actually know Bart’s full name, but he is currently caring for a gentleman by the name of A*** I am the District Nurse in charge of A*** nursing care and felt it important to write to you to give praise where it is due.

Bart is an exceptional carer. Not only has he built a trusting relationship with Tony (e.g. sits with him when eating).

The home is spotless, and Bart is attentive to anything I or A*** need during the visit. He has a calm way about him which was very welcome during one visit where A*** bled for a significant amount of time during a dressing change.

Bart is also completely on the ball regarding medication and dressing socks, his documentation is impeccable. I fully trust him with ensuring we don’t run out of any. When I mentioned to A*** that I was going to write to sing Bart’s praises, A*** pressed me to do so saying he was keen for Bart to get the praise due him and ‘I just really like him’ I could go so far to say that Bart and Ranger Home Care are the best carer and care company I have come across during my career so far.
